There are five Eras, and this RPG is nearing the end of the Fifth Era. Each Era will allow a new twist to the RPG. Something to explore.
Era One, Creation of Man. They say the gods created the human race, and placed them on the one island where they watched for centuries. Their creature becoming native to the land and forming tribes. They began to fight over the territory, this has begun to be known as the Great War of Man, as it is the only war recorded which is only fought by humans.
Era Two, Separating of the Islands. The gods being displeased with the way the humans were fighting over the island, split the island into five parts. Each tribe was given their own island, which was split into a Mountainous range, a Plain, a Great place of protection, a shallow beach, and the center which held a little of everything.
Era Three, The Adaption. The shallow beach slowly began to sink into the sea, leaving the tribe on the beach to adapt to its surroundings. But they weren't the only ones. The mountainous range was cold and rough which required the tribe to grow fur and strengthen their hands and legs. The plains were dry, and the tribe adapted by growing scales and becoming fast hunters. The Great place of protection was safe which allowed the tribe to grow into a new species which allowed them to relax, and learn. They grew short fur and strengthened their senses. But the fifth tribe, which was in the center did not adapt. it is believed that is because they held everything they needed as a race.
Era Four, Magick is born. From the place of protection came the beginning of mining. The newly found race called the Kij struck a magical object left behind by the Gods. They called their new found friends to explore this object with them, and each race sent their three smartest men to inspect the object. The 15 men sat around the orb and thought of what it could be, and before anyone could say anything a Kij touched the orb. The Orb glowed and fell to dust. The men returned home where they eventually found themselves capable of casting Magick eventually the property to cast was past down from family member to member.
Era Five, The Great War. The War of the Races, Although the species are divided by islands they have aligned themselves with new Allies. The Horoun, and Ropet have formed to defend their lands from the Humans, and the Kij. The Aroyan, being in no danger sit by and watch the war, some selling their swords for the highest payer. Although no side has proven stronger the Ropet and Horoun wait for a sign by the gods to leave their lands and strike down their enemies.
