Welcome to the Rules! Before you agree to my rules, you must agree to the terms of Service. Some big ones are this site is PG-13, if you don't know what will is considered to PG13 then take a look at this Link.
General Rules
- Be Kind, We all need to respect of one another, if you feel a member is being harsh towards you contact a staff member
- Be Respectful, Much like Rule one. Mainly because it is, Seriously be nice everyone.
- No Spamming, IE posting one word in a discussion thread. Engage in the conversation, don't just say you agree.
- Advertisements, We are not an advertisement site, we do not affiliate, But we do allow link-backs and only link-backs. We advertise on websites we trust and find appealing.
- There is a Zero tolerance for racism on this site, while in character it may be ok but when things get personal then we have problems. This may be considered flaming.
Roleplay Rules
- No God-Moding, AKA being the untouchable and invincible. Everyone gets hurt every once and awhile, a shot to the leg will not necessarily give your character a limp. Magick is good at healing, although you may have to limp off the battlefield. You can't expect to hit someone without taking a hit yourself. Be fair.
- No Powerplaying, AKA controlling another character. You created your character for you to Roleplay, not someone elses.
- No ERP, ERP stands for Erotic Role-playing. IE descriptive sex scenes. ProBoards ToS is against this, You may hint that it happens or simply say it happens, but you may not go into detail of such acts.
- Grammar/Spelling, Try your best to type with perfect grammar and spelling. Granted we aren't all good at spelling or using grammar but if it doesn't sound right when you say it allowed then it probably isn't right.
- Character Creation, No Mary-Sues and Gary-Lues, IE perfect characters with no flaws. The Character Template is designed to give you an opportunity to give your character a flaw, Flaws are what makes RPing fun. Would you play D&D if you knew you could just one-shot every enemy, and never miss?
- Magick has been touched on if you've read the thread regarding it. If you haven't I suggest you give it a scim even if you don't plan on using magick. Magick users should especially have flaws, its difficult to control something not natural.
- Word Count, there is no word count per say. But do try your best to give a good long reply. If you see a novel before your post and you know you can't match it, then simply just throw your best and ask your Partner to go easier on you. This site is for the Beginners to Expert. We are all teachers, and we all still have much to learn.
